The COPA for Kids Program is a -- free of charge -- aviation program that puts COPA member pilots together one-on-one with young people between 8 and 17 years of age to show them what aviation is all about and to give them an experience of being in the cockpit of an aircraft in flight.

Each hour-long experience includes a short ground lesson, a safety briefing, and a flight with a COPA member pilot! All participants will receive a certificate commemorating their flight.

To make sure this year's event runs smoothly, please observe the following:

• Only participants ages 8 through 17 (inclusive) may register for the event.
• Please arrive promptly at your scheduled time -- we cannot accommodate latecomers, as we have a limited number of aircraft available.
• A parent or guardian must be present to sign our release form.
• If the weather on Saturday is not suitable for flying, our "rain date" is the following Sunday. We will send email on Friday evening to inform you whether the event will proceed -- please check your email!
