The topics for this First Aviation Safety Seminar in the series will be:

1. Smart Pilot’s SAR Awareness: How to survive the wait.
2. Winter Flying Operations
   1. Pre-flight considerations for small aircraft – Is my airplane ready for cold weather flying beyond the local circuit?
   2. Am I ready and “dressed for success?”

This first Safety Seminar will stimulate discussion about preparing for a flight during this wonderful winter season when our aircraft perform at their best. It will also recommend how we need to prepare for the unlikely events associated with a landing away from a planned destination.
